Lyrics
WHERE WILL I FIT IN?
Words and Music by James Keith Norman
VERSE #1:
It’s like I’m wandering alone in a foreign land.
I’m like I'm a feather in a hurricane.
Old lessons are now fairy tales;
old roads, overgrown.
I’m blinded by the new and the strange.
And I am lost and forgotten in change.
CHORUS:
Where will I fit in? Tell me:
to what and who will I belong?
The darkness is closing in.
Bitter cold is blowing in.
They’re so strong.
Where will I fit in
from now on?
VERSE #2:
I’m not afraid. I’m really just confused.
What choices can or should I make?
And given all I gave
to become who I am,
I don’t know that I have what it takes
to amend what are surely now mistakes.
CHORUS.
BRIDGE:
I need someone to guide me,
someone to show me a world of new ways,
and to bring out a life inside me
that’s hiding
but perfect
for these days.
CHORUS.
