Will You Be Here for Me? (Remix) began strictly as an instrumental, but the more James worked on it, he says, the more it, well, "spoke to me." In one session, the entire poem came to him. At one point, he wondered if the poem should be a lyric, but the idea of speaking the words rather than singing them seemed more intimate and poignant. Beck Norman's moving performance of the poem proves that point.

This song is, James believes, one that many of us can relate to. After all, who among us has never felt inundated with bad times and fearfully mused if there might be someone to help them through it all?
